Salah’s agent sends out a tweet to send Liverpool fans anxiety

Mo Salah was rather surprisingly taken off during Liverpool’s home defeat against Chelsea, with over half an hour left for the game to finish. The player is still, at the moment the top scorer in the Premier League and could have made an impact on the game.

However, Jürgen Klopp has explained that Salah looked tired towards the end of the game and was unable to track back and help out in defense, which prompted the Reds boss to make the switch to bring on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to no avail, as the reigning champions succumbed to another defeat at home.

Salah has been linked with moves away to Barcelona and Real Madrid as of late. And to only add fuel to the fire of the rumours, Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa took to Twitter to express his disappointment at the way his client was treated in the latest outing, tweeting only a full-stop.

‘Who knows what will happen in the future, but right now I am focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool again.’

When pressed on his future further, Salah insisted everything was in Liverpool’s hands, adding: ‘That’s a tough question, but right now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club.

While the prospect of playing for either of the two Spanish giants will always be on the horizon, neither actually has the capacity to fulfil the financial responsibilities in bringing over the Egyptian to Spain. Hence, Liverpool fans can rest easy knowing that Salah’s decision about his future is not set to change based on the fate of a single game.
