Sajid Nadiadwala has formally announced the making of Kick 2 by sharing a BTS picture from Salman Khan’s photoshoot for the film. Salman had also been on hand to shoot this while he was working on his Sajid Nadiadwala collaboration, Sikandar with Rashmika Mandanna.

On the social media platform X, Sajid expressed his excitement, stating, “It was a great Kick 2 photo shoot Sikandar….!!! From Grand Sajid Nadiadwala.” The shared image shows Salman, dressed in a black tank top, with his back to the camera as he poses in front of multiple cars.
It had been reported previously that Sajid was targeting a 2025 start to his shoot. As per a Mid-Day report, the actor is currently juggling multiple projects under his production banner and hence will have to work out his dates. Since a lot of biggies are planned for 2025, he wishes to focus solely on directing Kick 2 and ensure that these productions run like a well-oiled machine.
According to media reports, Sajid said Kangana being in London is not an issue as he would like to work with her once she comes back, and even more revealing was that this film’s success has landed Sajid Khan talks of carrying forward the Devil saga. The actor-director duo, who are reportedly close friends too, are “very excited” to team up again for Kick 2, the sources added.
Sajid has previously expressed his desire to create a sequel to Kick, saying, “I launched myself as a director with Kick, and that’s my favorite IP. Every time I mention Kick, I receive inquiries from the industry, and the digital space is flooded with questions about when Kick 2 will start filming. I assure you that there will be an extension to Kick. The script is complete, but it requires more time. We need a larger scale and a suitable time for its release. It’s important to have cinema consumption back in vogue for us to proceed with Kick. Once things normalize, I will be ready to start filming Kick 2,” he told Pinkvilla.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is presently busy shooting for Sikandar with Rashmika Mandanna. He recently posted the title slate on Instagram, which reads, “Sajid Nadiadwala presents Salman Khan in and as Sikandar.” The film will now hit the screens on Eid 2025.
