Sadio Mane is set to be announced as a new Bayern Munich player in the coming days, with all paperworks completed for the transfer. The Senegalese has signed his three-year contract with the German giants for the transfer, and will undergo his medical for the switch today.
The announcement and presentation could take place as soon as tomorrow for the winger. Liverpool will receive a transfer fee worth €32 million for the winger, with add-ons pushing the total amount up to €41 million.
Sadio Mane to join Bayern Munich imminently
The winger announced his decision to leave Liverpool after losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League final. There were negotiations to extend his contract over the last few weeks of the season, but there was no agreement over his salary.
As a result, Sadio Mane has chosen his next club and will be a Bayern Munich player very soon. The German giants will have a plethora of talent in their wide positions next season, with Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and Sadio Mane all expected to be a part of Julian Nagelsmann’s set-up.
Under the German, Bayern could change their style of play as well, with Robert Lewandowski set to leave the club this summer. The Polish striker has publicly asked to be sold, and will seemingly move to Barcelona by the end of the window. However, nothing has been agreed with the Catalonians for a transfer as of yet.
