Sadio Mane has opened talks with Al Nassr for a transfer this summer after the Saudi Arabian club registered their interest in him. His agent, Björn Bezemer, will travel to Japan this week to get the discussions underway with the club for a contract.

The player has given the green light for discussion on personal terms to begin. But, an agreement between Bayern Munich and Al Nassr is also necessary over the transfer fee for the move to go through.

Bayern will receive a €37 million bid for the winger, with the Saudi club confident of getting the deal over the line. Talks are now advancing to the final stages between the clubs for the transfer to go through.

Mane was keen on staying with Bayern after a difficult first season with them. But, the club has other plans and are open to moving him on for the right price. As a result, the player is considering his options and could join Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia if personal terms are agreed.

Yes, Bayern is informed about Sadio Mane agent in talks with Al Nassr,” club president Herbert Hainer said.

“That’s good style. But as far as I know, these are the first talks. We’ll have to wait and see what happens”.

The Senegal international was involved in a rough first season not only on the pitch, but also off of it. He had a fight with Leroy Sane that caused him to get suspended, while reports also suggest that he isn’t very popular in the locker room. And on the back of the tumultuous campaign, it looks like he could leave Europe for a new challenge.
