New toughest Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to arrive on the Samsung Galaxy S23 series

Samsung will soon announce the new S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event slated next month and Corning has recently confirmed that the series will feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is the toughest glass on a smartphone, and ought to increase your level of satisfaction with your phone.

The Gorilla Glass Victus 2’s new glass composition delivers improved drop performance on rough surfaces like concrete while preserving the scratch resistance of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It should provide the same level of scratch resistance as the first model, however, the new Gorilla Glass Victus 2 survived a one-meter drop test onto a model of concrete without suffering any damage, which is a big deal.
