In China, prices for AMD Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPUs, including the AMD Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700, and Ryzen 5 7600, have dropped to historic lows. However, a few days ago, we reported that the Ryzen 9 7900X actually outperformed its Non-X sibling in terms of pricing when it dropped to $420 US.

The AMD Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPUs have been receiving some fairly decent discounts. But that only lasted a short while; as of right now, AMD has reduced the cost of all Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPUs and is additionally providing a promotion of 50 RMB ($10 US).

The AMD Ryzen 9 7900 is currently available for 2549 RMB, which is $371 US, which is $58 US less than the stated US MSRP of $429 US. The price of the Ryzen 5 7600 is now $210 US, which is $19 US less than the price of the Ryzen 7 7700, both of which are now available for 1949 RMB or $283 US, which is $46 US less than their respective US MSRPs.

Microcenter is where you can get these chips for the lowest prices in the US: $399 for the Ryzen 9 7900, $319 for the Ryzen 7 7700, and $219 for the Ryzen 7 7700. For PC gamers in the Asian markets who have been waiting to buy a new Ryzen & AM5 system, the Chinese prices are anywhere from 4% to 11% less expensive compared to these.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7900 has a maximum clock speed of up to 5.4 GHz, 12 cores, 24 threads, and 76 MB of cache (64 MB L3 + 12 MB L3).

Although the boost clock has been reduced by 200 MHz, this 12-core chip still looks amazing, and I can already see many users upgrading to this sub-$400 US 12-Core Zen 4 chip. In comparison to the Core i9-13900 and Core i9-12900 CPUs, AMD places the chip.

The Ryzen 7 7700 is the next processor in line; it has 8 cores, 16 threads, 40 MB of cache (32 MB L3 + 8 MB L3), and a top clock speed of up to 5.3 GHz. Given its 65W power budget, the Ryzen 7 7700X’s clock speed is only 100 MHz slower than that of the Ryzen 7 7700, which is impressive. The Core i7-13700 and Core i7-12700 CPUs compete with the Ryzen 7 7700.

The AMD Ryzen 5 7600 is the last processor on the list. It has 6 cores, 12 threads, 38 MB of cache (32 MB L3 + 6 MB L2), and a top clock speed of up to 5.1 GHz. The boost clock is 200 MHz slower than the chip designated as “X.” The Core i5-13600 and i5-12600 are up against the Ryzen 5 7600.
