Rudra: The Edge of Darkness trailer was released today, starring Ajay Devgn. It is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. The web series Rudra is basically an official Hindi remake of the hit series of BBC, starring Idris Elba.
In the original series, Idris Elba’s character is a brilliant, driven, and obsessed cop. He has to face horrible crimes on his job that made him mentally disturbed, reckless, and even violent at times. This web series also seemed to be following the same route as the previously based series but the character of Ajay seemed to be a little more easygoing than Elba’s. Although the production value here seemed to be quite impressive.
The audience was mesmerized by Ajay Devgn’s cop avatar in the Singham franchise and Gangaajal. If the series Rudra is sufficiently faithful to its source material in terms of tone, then it seemed to be a more serious take than Devgn’s fans are used to.

Release Date
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is going to release on Disney+ Hotstar in 2022, but the dates are not declared till now. The first episode of the series contains 6 episodes.
