The Kannada film started with less than Rs 10 lakh on Day 1. Positive word-of-mouth then took over, and it reached **Rs 24.50 crore gross in 12 days**. Its second Tuesday brought in around Rs 4 crore, which is more than the film made on any single day of its first week. It’s a good example of why [Kannada cinema](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinema_of_Karnataka) keeps surprising the trade.

## What Makes This Run Special?

**It grew instead of fading.** Week 1 closed at about Rs 6 crore, over 60 times the opening day. The last day of that week alone was nearly Rs 2 crore.

**Weekdays beat the holiday.** The second week opened at over Rs 3 crore, and weekdays are collecting more than the holiday second Friday. Films rarely do that unless audiences are recommending them to each other.
