Roy Krishna will be staying at Odisha FC for one more season, renewing his contract after an incredible season. The Fijian scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 38 games across all competitions, helping his side to the semifinals of the ISL.
There were rumours that the 36-year-old was finally ready to move away from India and return to Australia at the end of the season. However, he finished as the joint top scorer in the league alongside Dimitrios Diamantakos, who eventually won the Golden Boot for scoring as many goals in fewer games.

The Fijian is the third-highest goalscorer in the history of the ISL, three behind Sunil Chhetri in second place and 11 behind Bart Ogbeche who has 61. With one more season, the veteran surely has a chance at breaking the record and claiming top spot for himself, if he can continue his scoring streak.
Roy Krishna has been in the ISL since 2019, first playing for ATK, followed by ATK Mohun Bagan after their merger. He then moved to Bengaluru FC for one season before arriving at Odisha this past summer.
After Carlos Delgado, Odisha FC have managed to keep another one of their most vital players in a bid to challenge for the title in the coming season.
