Cristiano Ronaldo has shocked the world when he signed for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. Everyone thought that Ronaldo would continue playing at the highest level in Europe after he gave the internet-breaking interview with Piers Morgan and later mutually terminated his contract with Manchester United.
However, the Portugal talisman has chosen to move to Asia and signed a record-breaking deal with Al Nassr. The veteran has signed a deal with the club until June 2025, which is the most valuable in the history of the sport. Along with commercial revenue, the Portugal captain will be earning a salary of €200 million per year at his new club.Â
While his counterpart, Lionel Messi is playing for PSG, Ronaldo will be plying his trade in the Saudi Pro League. However, we may be fortunate enough to see both the legends of this game playing together for the last time.
