Saud Abdulhamid is set to join Roma from Al Hilal, with the deal being given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano. The two clubs have agreed to a deal worth €3 million including add-ons, and the player is set to travel for his medical tests today.
The 25-year-old has been highly rated as one of the best in his position in the Saudi Pro League. And it will be interesting to see how he fares in one of Europe’s top five leagues with Roma.

The defender has been a regular in Al Hilal’s starting line-up over the past two seasons, since joining them from Al Ittihad. He has made 115 appearances for the club, scoring five goals and providing 18 assists across all competitions.
Saud Abdulhamid has also represented the Saudi Arabian national team 28 times, adding to his experience at the top level.
Once the move for Abdulhamid goes through, Al Hilal are planning to accelerate their pursuit of Joao Cancelo. The out-of-favour Manchester City defender has been offered a three-year contract worth €70 million per season, and a €40 million offer has been made to City. It remains to be seen if the two clubs can come to an agreement over the move soon.
