“Roma’s progress and ambition in recent times have been clear for all to see, and both elements have had a big influence on me,” Andrea Belotti said.
“This is a club with big ambitions, with a great project and the fact that they won the Conference League last season is a sign of growth.”
“The opportunity to work with a winning coach like Mourinho will certainly give me the best energy and I can’t wait to step on the pitch for him.”
“I have a deep esteem for each of my Italian teammates and I’m sure they will help me fit in in the best possible way,” he added.
After Paulo Dybala, Gini Wijnaldum and Nemanja Matic, Belotti becomes yet another major signing for Jose Mourinho in the transfer window. With the forward’s arrival, Roma now have one of the strongest attacks in the league and could emerge as surprise contenders for the title this season.
