Inter Milan and AS Roma are considering a swap deal between Alexis Sánchez and Edin Dzeko.
Edin Dzeko had a fallout with manager Paulo Fonseca last week following an elimination their elimination in the Coppa Italia last week against Spezia. He was barred from participating with his teammates in full training.
The Portuguese manager said, “I understand the curiosity you have, but I don’t want to say anything else.”
“I don’t want to say anything more. The important thing is what we did here today, a great victory for the team.”- he added.
The Bosnian striker has made 20 appearances this season and scored 8 goals. But after the recent incident with his manager, it was quite clear that the Portuguese manager does not want him in his team anymore.
On the other hand, Inter Milan winger Alexis Sanchez was not in a convincing form this season. After the loan spell last year at Inter Milan, the Chilean joined the Italian side in a permanent deal from Manchester United last summer.
The 32-year-old winger has made only 16 appearances this season scoring only twice.
Now both the parties want to use the situation and considering a swap deal. As per the Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, “Inter and Roma are considering a possible swap deal between Alexis Sanchez and Edin Dzeko. It’s not an easy deal or advanced, but the two clubs are now in direct contact.”
Both parties will be happy if the deal goes through. The Transfer window is open until 31st January.
