1. **Completed 17,000 international runs**

In the recent Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, Rohit Sharma completed 17,000 runs in international cricket. He became only the seventh Indian cricketer to achieve this feat, joining the elite club that includes legendary batters Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, and MS Dhoni.

2. **Most centuries by a player in a single World Cup**

In the 2019 ODI World Cup, Rohit Sharma set the record for the most centuries by a player in a single World Cup with five. It is a remarkable milestone considering the schedule and consistency required to achieve such a feat. He made scoring runs look easy and were instrumental in India’s journey to the semifinals.

3. **Most fours in a single ODI inning**

Rohit Sharma holds the world record for the most fours in a single ODI inning with 33 against Sri Lanka in 2014. The record of 33 fours in one inning is one of the most challenging records to break in cricket, and it may stand for a long time.

4. **Fastest century in T20 Internationals**

Rohit Sharma holds the record for the fastest century in T20 Internationals, scoring it off just 35 balls against Sri Lanka in 2017. He hit 10 sixes and 12 fours in that innings and finished with a score of 118 runs off just 43 balls.

5. **Most sixes in international cricket**

Rohit Sharma holds the record for hitting the most sixes in international cricket among Indian players. He has hit 428 sixes in his international career so far, and the number is still counting. He has an exceptional ability to hit sixes at will, making him one of the most dangerous batsmen in limited-overs cricket.
