The second season of the SonyLIV series once again comes with Rocket Boys 2. This sequence unveils Dr. Homi Bhabha, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, as they aim to make India a nuclear nation against great adversity.
The series has once again enchanted the tale of how India become the strongest nuclear power county featuring Jim Saurabh and Iswak Singh as the two precious scientists Dr. Homi J Bhabha, and Dt Vikram Sarabhai.
The first season premiered on SonyLIV last February and the second season is expected to be released later this year or early next year.
The second season of Rocket Boys sees the characters of Homi Bhabha, Vikram Sarabhai, and APJ Abdul Kalam take on more challenges as they take their plans ahead of making India into a nuclear nation. They face obstacles from many fronts including budgetary opposition, technical difficulties, and hostility from other nations.
The brand new trailer starts with the news of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s death, with his daughter Indira Gandhi, stepping up in the void left behind. Rocket Boys 2 also unveils Homi and Vikram who have determined to execute their plans to fruition, with Homi insistent that India should have a nuclear bomb and Vikram with his plans to launch satellites in orbit.

There is intrigue, historical detail, and lots of character development as the show returns later this month. Directed by Abhay Pannu, the series seemingly picks up where it left off last February 2022. The first season won eight Filmfare OTT trophies including Best Drama Series and Best Director last year.

Rocket Boys 2 has been produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani, and Madhu Bhojwani. The second season will also see the return of other familiar faces including Regina Cassandra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Saba Azad.

The second season of the sci-fi series will hit on 16th March 2023.
