Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has commented on his future after the Seagulls were defeated 2-1 by Liverpool. Mohamed Salah turned things around to win all three points at home, inspite of Danny Welbeck’s opening goal minutes into the game.
He has been linked with a number of clubs next season including Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Barcelona and Manchester United. However, nothing has been agreed with any club as of yet.
Roberto De Zerbi speaks on potential exit rumours
“I’m gonna speak to Tony Bloom about next season plans and then I’ll decide,” De Zerbi said
“To work next season at Brighton, I don’t need to extend…”.
“Now we have finished the discussion about contracts but not because I have decided yet, it’s still open”.
De Zerbi did a remarkable job with Brighton last season, helping them qualify for Europe for the first time. But he has had to face a number of challenges, specifically in terms of losing his best players such as Alexis Mac Allister, Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard with every passing transfer window.
