Star cricketer Rishabh Pant was on his way to his hometown Roorkee from Delhi and met with an accident. He lost control of his career and hit the divider. The car caught fire and was immediately damaged. He was admitted to a private hospital in Roorkie but got referred to Dehradun hospital immediately. As per reports he is out of the danger zone but suffered injuries on his head and a ligament injury on his right ankle.

The BCCI is in touch with his family and their medical team is on talking terms with the doctors who are treating him. He will be undergoing an MRI at the Max Hospital in Dehradun to acknowledge the extent of his injuries and decide on further treatment. He has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and hurt his right wrist, ankle, and toe. he suffered abrasion injuries on his back.

As per Hardiwar Rural SP SK Singh, Pant fell asleep behind the wheel while he was driving to meet his relatives in Roorkee. The accident took place 1 km ahead of the Narsan towards Roorkee.

As per the state government, Pant’s car met with an accident near Mohammadpur Jat which is under the Mangalore police station area in Haridwar district around 5.30 am.

“Taking details from the officers on cricketer Rishabh Pant injured in a car accident, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami asked officers to ensure all possible arrangements for the proper treatment of the cricketer. Praying for his speedy recovery, CM announced that the state government will bear all expenses of the treatment. An air ambulance will also be provided if required.” as per the statement issued by the State government

Dr. Ashish Yagnik said that Pant is stable at the moment and a medical bulletin will be issued after the examination by the doctors. The star cricketer’s car Mercedes burnt completely in Roorkee. He will undergo plastic surgery for his injury.

Popular cricketers like Virat Kohli, Mohammed Azharuddin, Virender Sehwag, Anil Kumble, and Mohammed Shami prayed for Pant’s speedy recovery.
