One of India’s greatest long format match-winners, Virender Sehwag, had earlier said that if Rishabh Pant wants to have his name permanently engraved in history, he should aim to play 100 Test matches for his nation.

A four-day tour match against the Rohit Sharma-led India will begin today (June 23) at Uptonsteel County Ground, featuring four Indian players who are a part of the Test team in England.

The Leicestershire side, led by opening batsman Sam Evans, will include middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, quick bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna, the Leicestershire county said in a statement.
