Legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott is back, and he is bringing an all-star cast with him. The first official trailer for **The Dog Stars** has finally dropped, and it promises a visually stunning, emotional journey. Based on the critically acclaimed novel by Peter Heller, this adaptation blends post-apocalyptic survival with heartfelt human connection.

### A New Kind of Apocalypse

The trailer introduces us to a world decimated by a flu pandemic. **Josh Brolin** stars as Hig, a survivor dealing with the loss of his wife, while **Jacob Elordi** and **Margaret Qualley** round out the cast with what looks to be gripping performances. Unlike typical action-heavy blockbusters, the footage highlights a more introspective narrative, focusing on the bond between a pilot, his dog, and a trigger-happy neighbor.

Scott’s signature visual flair is evident in every frame, capturing both the beauty of nature reclaiming the world and the harsh reality of survival.
