Netflix has dropped the trailer of Frank Gastambide’s featuring film, ‘Restless’. This film shows the life of a corrupt cop that becomes spiral’s out of control after going to extremes with an accident. He started getting threats from the mysterious witness.
Restless: Plot
The trailer of the film is two minutes seven seconds long. The trailer starts with a car going through the road at night and the Lieutenant named Thomas is telling someone on a call about the get out of the people and he has been informed that they have been passed the hall and on the other side someone is wanting the next command from the Lieutenant and on speaking on the smartphone his car has faced that something is hitting the glass that makes a crack on the glass of the car and the car is moving 360 degrees.
After that, he just gets out of the car to see the situation and actually what happens with him. After that, he has been informed that some officers of his unit are suspected of overlooking fraudulent activities in such bribe exchanging. After that, it reveals a victim named Manuel Barcelo already charged for such drug trafficking. The cops are planning to arrest him and they feel it would not be hurt them. After that, the trailer shows a man staying in such a binding situation and that seems to be done by the lieutenant.
The two people cop team come to a place and they have found nobody now they just trying to figure out what they would do. They are looking for clues and he just cannot as it will not even be vanished like that. The lieutenant gets a call from an unknown person and on-call the person speak,” someone who knows you killed Manuel Barcelo,”.The question now arises where the body has been taken after he has picked him up.
The lieutenant on the call just talking and walking through a path and suddenly a car come and hit him he just fall down on the road and the car is like ran over on him somehow he manages him to get out under the car and run as the car is chasing him from behind.
The trailer after shows that the lieutenant has the lead and he just wants to check the cameras. Now someone is threading as he told the police where Barcelo has been buried by him then he just tells him about his desires instead of speaking it to the police then the person on call says to Bring Barcelo to him.
The man is now watching the camera of the night as what hit the car and he is getting some threats like “Careful, Thomas. Curiosity killed the cat.” After that, the lieutenant sees his daughter and he just says in the call not to touch his daughter. After that, the trailer shows many action scenes that happened with an officer. The trailer ends with the Lieutenant holding the pistol in his hand by fighting with a man.
