Redmi India has officially announced the launch of its upcoming smartwatch, the Redmi Watch Move, which is set to debut in India on April 21st. The company is promoting the new wearable under the campaign tagline “YourNextBigMove.” Xiaomi has also created a dedicated landing page on its official website, giving a glimpse of the watch’s design, including a square-shaped dial and a rotating crown positioned on the right side, presumably aiming to allow navigation through the user interface and access to its various features.

Redmi Watch Move Set to Launch in India on April 21st with AMOLED Display and 14-Day Battery Life
The Redmi Watch Move appears in a black colour variant and will get a comfortable silicone strap. As per the website listing, the smartwatch will feature an AMOLED display, but the exact screen size is not disclosed yet. The AMOLED panel will give more lively visuals while being more efficient than typical displays. As per poster images shared by the popular tipster Mukul Sharma, the watch will come with the brightest display in its segment, and with an accuracy rating of 98.5 percent, it is going to be one of the most precise smartwatches in its price range.
It will most likely be powered by Xiaomi’s HyperOS with a claimed battery life of up to 14 days, and also supposedly a camera prowess that ranks high in its category.
As we already see the black option, the smartwatch is likely to be coming in several color choices like blue, white, and grey/silver as well. Although not all specifications have been officially confirmed, the active microsite hints that more information will be revealed in the lead-up to the launch.
To provide some context, Redmi had previously introduced the Watch 5 Active and Watch 5 Active Lite in August and September last year, priced at ₹2,799 and ₹3,499, respectively. With the Redmi Watch Move, the brand appears to be targeting consumers looking for a stylish and feature-rich smartwatch at an affordable price point.
