Recently, the official account of [Redmi](https://technosports.co.in/?s=redmi) on Weibo has confirmed that the Watch 2 will feature a 1.6″ AMOLED display with a larger screen-to-body ratio. For comparison, the original Redmi Watch launched last year with a smaller 1.4″ LCD panel.

Despite its name, the device in all likelihood will be a fitness tracker and not a smartwatch, similar to its predecessor. It could be running a customized version of RTOS like other products of its nature in the market.
