Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched the Redmi Turbo 4 in China as its latest flagship mobile. Powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset, the device is likely to be released in additional regions such as India as the POCO X7 Pro but will be just a bit different in some way. The Redmi Turbo 4 is available in four variants, starting at CNY 1,999 (approximately ₹23,488). It comes in three color options: Shadow Black, Shallow Sea Blue, and Lucky Cloud White. Pricing for the other configurations includes CNY 2,199 (₹25,838) for 16GB+256GB, CNY 2,299 (₹27,013) for 12GB+512GB and CNY 2,499 (₹29,363) for 16GB+512GB.

It has a 6.67-inch TCL Huaxing 1.5K flat OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+, Dolby Vision support. There is also high-end 1920Hz PWM Dimming technology on the screen. The MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset (essentially a beefed-up version of the 8400 that delivers top-end performance) handles overall performance.

Speaking of optics, the Redmi Turbo 4 has a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 20MP selfie snapper. The device ships with a 6,550mAh battery that can fast-charge at 90W and is rated for 80% health after 1,600 cycles. The software front is powered or, rather, they run HyperOS 2 on Android 15. Additional features include an IP66/IP67/IP68 rating, dual-frequency GPS, and multi-function NFC.

Now, as excitement mounts for the phone’s release as the POCO X7 Pro worldwide, the Redmi Turbo 4 cements its place as a flagship smartphone with high-end specs and the latest in technology.
