Xiaomi India officially announced the upcoming launch of the Redmi Pad Pro in the Indian market on 29th July The tablet was announced in China on the 20th making the second entry for Redmi branded tablets that use HyperOS. The Indian model of the Redmi Pad Pro is yet to be detailed by Xiaomi. The listing was dropped right before the company finalized plans to bring it to India.

The Redmi Pad Pro has a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 and an image density of 249 ppi. This screen comes with a 120Hz display and peaks at 600 nits of brightness. It has Dolby Vision certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The tablet comes with adaptive reading mode, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly display for better viewing comfort without eye strain.

Computing power is driven by a 4-nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, with a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. There is up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 1.5 TB. The tablet is backed by a new Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 which will enable seamless use alongside the latest software pumps and topmost security features.

For photography, the Redmi Pad Pro has an 8-megapixel rear camera that supports 1080p video recording at 30fps, and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. There is a wide range of connectivity options available as well such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast, and USB 2.0 data transfer speeds, ensuring fast and reliable connections for various tasks.

The tablet is powered by a substantial 10,000mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast charging via USB Type-C, providing long-lasting usage and quick recharging times. The Redmi Pad Pro measures 280.0×181.85×7.52mm and weighs 571g, making it a portable yet powerful device suitable for both work and entertainment purposes.
