## Pricing — Is It Worth It?

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G starts at ₹19,999 for the base 6GB + 128GB variant, the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹21,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant costs ₹23,999. Xiaomi is also offering a **₹2,000 bank discount** with ICICI Bank cards, effectively making the entry price ₹17,999 — exceptional value for what’s on offer.

## Design — The Star of the Show

Let’s be honest: the **Crimson Reserve** colourway is what’s turning heads here. The new variant features a crimson colourway with a leather-inspired textured finish and a gold-finished frame — a combination that looks genuinely premium without the premium price tag. The Frosted White and Carbon Black options offer cleaner, more understated alternatives.

## What’s Different from the Standard Note 15?

This is where it gets interesting. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G swaps the Note 15’s 108MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide for a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and also gets a larger 5,800mAh silicon-carbon battery in place of the standard model’s cell.

The silicon-carbon battery upgrade is notable — it charges faster, retains capacity longer, and is a technology typically found in much pricier devices. The display features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, and 12-bit colour depth. ## Performance & Software

Under the hood, the [Snapdragon 6 Gen 3](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon) chipset is a solid mid-range workhorse built on a 4nm process, paired with an Adreno 710 GPU. The phone runs Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 out of the box [The Free Press Journal](https://www.freepressjournal.in/tech/redmi-note-15-se-5g-price-in-india-specifications-launch-offers) — meaning you get a clean, feature-rich software experience with long-term update support.

Storage is expandable up to 1TB, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of space for photos, videos, or apps.
