Redmi Note 14 Series Set for India Launch: Specs, Variants, and Expected Features Revealed

The Redmi Note 14 series was introduced in China in September, featuring a base model, a Pro variant, and a Pro+ version. Although there hasn’t been any confirmation yet regarding their global release dates and specifications may undergo some changes outside of China’s market enough. The Redmi Note 14 5G standard edition was recently seen listed on the Indonesia SDPPI certification site and a source shared details, about when the series is expected to launch in India.

As per the information provided by insider Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), the Redmi Note 14 is anticipated to launch in India towards the end of December or early January with sales expected to kick off between January 10 and January 15. All three models will ship with Android 14-based HyperOS. The Pro versions boast 6.67-inch 120Hz 1.5K displays, while the base model features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen.

Although the tipster did not explicitly mention the word “series,” images provided hint at details, for all three models of phones which implies that Redmi might release the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro Plus in India as well. The tipster also mentioned that there will be some adjustments made to the versions in comparison, to the Chinese models. The Redmi Note 14 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor and offers a maximum of 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM capacity. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ models are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra and Snapdragon 7 series Gen 3, the Pro+ version can feature up to 16GB of RAM.

In terms of cameras, the standard Redmi Note 14 has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 14 Pro features a triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel main Sony LYT-600 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Note 14 Pro+ has a similar triple-camera system but includes a 50-megapixel portrait telephoto lens. The Pro models have 20-megapixel front-facing cameras. The Redmi Note 14 is powered by a 5,110mAh battery with 45W fast charging, while the Pro model has a 5,500mAh battery with the same charging capability. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features a larger 6,200mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging.
