The Upcoming Redmi Note 14 Series

Redmi has teased the designs of two of the models, which may hint at curved edges and centrally positioned squircle-shaped rear camera modules. We can tell the difference since one of these camera islands is covered by glass and the other has exposed camera lenses, presumably representing design differences between the Pro and Pro+ versions. Leaked build quality has also been teased, with Redmi promising improved durability.

Redmi, through its Weibo account, has shared that the Note 14 series will be launched in China “next week,” which suggests the announcement could happen between September 23 and September 29. Xiaomi’s own website in China as well as leading e-commerce platforms like JD Mall and TMall have already begun pre-reservations for the series.

The teaser also provided a first glimpse at the phone’s improved fall and water resistance. The company’s senior executive recently confirmed that the devices will come with IP68-rated protection, which makes them dust and water-resistant, a major durability upgrade.
