Redmi Note 11 Pro, Pro+ India launch could be imminent, Xiaomi 11T Pro Indian variant may launch in November

Yesterday, Redmi held a lunch event in China to announce the Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and the Note 11 Pro+. It appears that these phones could be heading to India in a few weeks as they have been spotted at the Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS).

The model numbers of the Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+ for Chinese markets are 21091116AC, 21091116C, and 21091116UC respectively. The Indian variants of these models have been spotted at the BIS authority.

The 21091116AI is the Indian variant of the Note 11. It was spotted at BIS back in August. Its global edition with the 2019111AG model number was spotted around the same time at the European Economic Commission(EEC).

The EEC listing revealed that the Redmi Note 11 will be rebranded as a POCO phone. In all likelihood, it could be the POCO M4 Pro 5G that is scheduled to launch on the 9th of November. To recollect, Redmi Note 10 5G was rebranded as the POCO M3 Pro 5G in global and Indian markets. Hence, it is likely that the POCO M4 Pro 5G could also be heading to India.

The Indian variants of the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ have 21091116I and 21091116UI model numbers. These models have also surfaced at BIS, which indicates that their Indian launch may not be far away.

To recollect, the Note 11 Pro and Pro+ came with identical specs such as a 6.67″ AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 920 chipset, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. It has a 108MP triple-camera setup and a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Note 11 Pro has a 5,160mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, whereas the Pro+ gets a 4,500mAh battery with 120W rapid charging.

Xiaomi 11T Pro

In September, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro flagship phones in global markets. Later in the same month, the 11T Pro’s Indian variant with 2107113SI model number was approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards. Last week, the same model was spotted at the IMEI database.

Fresh information reveals that the 11T Pro’s Indian variant has been spotted at the Google Play Console and supported devices list. These listings are good proof that the 11T Pro could be heading to India in November.

So yes, the Xiaomi 11T Pro is soon launching in India. Have spotted the Indian variant (codename vili) on the Google Supported Devices list and the Google Play Console listing.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro’s Indian variant is expected to carry the same specs as its global edition. The Google Play Console listing of the Indian variant shows that it has an FHD+ display, Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, 8GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS.

Coming to the Xiaomi 11T Pro has a 6.67″ AMOLED screen with a centrally positioned punch-hole setup. It delivers a Full HD+ resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate.

For selfies, it has a 16MP selfie shooter and its rear camera unit has a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and 5MP telemacro snapper.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC powers the 11T Pro. In Europe, it comes in three LPPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 storage combinations like an 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant, an 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant, and a 12GB RAM+256GB storage variant.

The Android 11 OS comes preinstalled on the 11T Pro. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5,000mAh battery, and support for 120W rapid charging.
