Redmi has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of two new devices—the Redmi K80 Ultra flagship smartphone and the Redmi K Pad gaming tablet—in China later this month. Although the company had previously teased these new products, it hadn’t disclosed what they would look like or given a specific launch date until now. A fresh series of promotional posters provides a first look at the look of the devices.

Redmi K80 Ultra

Redmi K80 Ultra and K Pad Teased with Dimensity 9400+, 16GB RAM, Android 15, and Sleek Green Design

Both the Redmi K80 Ultra and the Redmi K Pad are shown in a sleek green color with a matte finish. The circular rear camera hump of the K80 Ultra looks very similar to the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro that debuted in China in November 2024. But looking closely, the K80 Ultra is shown to be featuring a dual-camera system if we are looking at it the right way along with OIS, which makes the 50MP main sensor the main attraction here.

On the other hand, Redmi K Pad flaunts a clean-looking back panel, which bears resemblance to a no-nonsense setup, along with a single rear camera housed alongside an LED flash. It is poised to go directly against the likes of devices as the iPad Mini 7, Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, and Lenovo Legion Y700 (4th Gen), which points to a focus on productivity and portable gaming.

Both devices recently appeared on the Geekbench platform, equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and running Android 15 out of the box. Reports indicate the Redmi K80 Ultra will come with a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display offering a 1.5K resolution, a large 7,500mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging, a sturdy metal middle frame, and IP68 water and dust resistance
