Xiaomi’s entry-level TWS earbud Redmi Earbuds S was launched a few days back on 27th May in India. This is one of the cheapest earbuds from a reputed brand which comes under ₹2,000. As a result in just seven days, it sold out 100k units in India.

MD of Xiaomi India, Mr Manu Kumar Jain tweeted more than 100,000 units of their Redmi Earbuds S were sold in India after the launch. He informed this last Wednesday. The unit count is made by the 2nd of June, just up to the 7th day from launch.

Mr. Jain, in his tweet, also mentioned that the sale of there Earbuds S in India is near about 15% of the entire TWS industry. But the attractive part is Redmi reached that milestone in just a week, where others took a whole quarter of 2020.

Though the sound quality is not the best one, the ₹1,799 price tag alone becomes the market pillar. At this price range, a little bit of compromise is expected. Despite that, the device holds 7.2mm drivers, IPX4 rating, 12 hours of battery live, and more which is awesome.

As I mentioned earlier, this is one of the lowest pricing TWS earbuds which belongs to a reputed brand.
