The leaked Redmi Display 1A is indeed true and Xiaomi has recently launched its new budget montor at an attractive $70 price point. The monitor is now been crowdfunded at Xiaomi’s Youpin platform.
Borrowing a lot of similarity from the orignal Mi Display 1A, this monitor too features a 23.8-inch panel FHD (1080p) IPS LCD panel with almost no bezels on the three sides of the display. It also comes with wide viewing angles of 178 degrees along with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Xiaomi claims that the monitor is only 7.3mm thick and offers 3 years of warranty. If you compare this to the Mi Display 1A, then you’ll notice no difference between both the monitors with almost no bezels, making it look clean and modern.
The monitor is TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue light emission, ideal for everyday usage. The Redmi Display 1A monitor has 250 cd/m² of brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio with 16.7 million colors.
It comes with 16:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and 6 ms response time. For ports, the monitor features a DC power input, an HDMI, and a VGA port on the back of the display. At $70 price this is a great deal for budget PC setup and is actually $29 cheaper than the Mi Display 1A.
