According to recent reports, Redmi is going to launch its new Redmi 9i smartphone on 15 September 2020. There are some specifications which are already leaked about this phone and some are confirmed too. Now let’s get into this.
Redmi 9i smartphone is expected to run on the Android v10 (Q) operating system (support of MIUI) and will be powered by an Octa-core, 2 GHz, Cortex A53 processor, that runs on the MediaTek Helio G25 Chipset. This phone will come in a 2GB RAM variant and 32GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB by an external microSD card.
Regarding the display, this phone will have a 6.53″ (720 x 1600 Pixels) IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It will be a waterdrop notch display. Now coming to the camera section, this phone may feature a single rear camera of 13-megapixel (f/2.2). This primary sensor will have facilities like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. This phone will also have a selfie camera of 5 MP f/2.2.
Regarding the battery, this phone is backed up by a 5,000mAH battery. It will also have several connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volte, and more. Most importantly this phone will support a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Looking at the specifications, it is pretty sure that the Redmi 9i will be a lower budget smartphone. There is no official information regarding the price of it. But the price is likely to be Rs. 7,999. The rest of the things will be cleared on September 15 at 12 noon.
