About 1.5 months earlier, the Redmi 13 4G technical specifications were leaked on the web. Now, according to a new leak from 91Mobiles, official renders, prices, and other characteristics of the device were declassified. Judging by the leaks, the smartphone will be presented very soon.

The previous generation of the Redmi 12 was sold for a record amount, in particular in India, and the Redmi 12 has flown, which set up the arrival of a successful Redmi 13. Redmi 13 will have a similar design to Redmi 12.

The Upcoming Redmi 13 4G

The first images of the novelty allow us to conclude this only by bending the frame around the screen. In terms of performance, the Redmi 13 4G will have a Helio G88 processor that can be decoded according to the code MT6768. However, there is also speculation that it could feature MediaTek’s newly launched Helio G91 for 2024. However, the performance of both the Helio G88 and Helio G91 is almost similar with no additional advancements. Therefore, the Redmi 13 performance would be too close to that of the Redmi 12. In addition to limiting the additional features, the differences in performance vary with almost no margin.

On the other hand, the Redmi 13 4G tends to minimize advancements than the Redmi 12 in other areas, such as a camera, a display, and a fast charge mode. In this case, the Redmi 13 has only included a new 108MP camera sensor instead of the Redmi 12’s 50MP. This means that the phone will take good photos in well-lit areas but with minimal differences in night photography.

According to rumors, the Redmi 13 may come in two configurations: a 6GB/128GB version and an 8GB/256GB version. The possible starting prices for both were anticipated to be €199 for the base and €229 for the top-tier model. To summarize, the Redmi 13 doesn’t make significant improvements in terms of performance, but it does improve significantly in terms of camera capabilities and pricing. The imminent release of the device will be a continuity to the Redmi 12 success and expand more to markets such as India, where the Redmi 12 performed very well upon its release.
