Red Magic 10 Air Teased as Nubia’s Slimmest Flagship for Young Gamers

Nubia has recently announced another device in the Red Magic 10 lineup, which includes the Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro Plus. Weibo was where the upcoming device, dubbed the Red Magic 10 Air, was announced in a post and a teaser image. The metal-framed smartphone seen in the image boasts three circular camera modules on the back. However, this model misses the signature cooling fan duct that you would usually find on Red Magic gaming phones. It also seems to have a new circular button on the side rather than the game space slider.

The Red Magic 10 Air will go on sale in China at 15:00 on April 16. Responding to the announcement via social media, Ni Fei, CEO of Nubia, highlighted that the phone has been created with a younger target demographic in mind. He described the device as “slim yet powerful” and said it would be the “lightest and thinnest full-screen flagship” in Red Magic’s history. Although Nubia has yet to release the full specifications of the Red Magic 10 Air, several leaks and rumours have surfaced.

According to these unconfirmed reports, the device could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It may also feature a 6.8-inch BOE true fullscreen display with a resolution of 1116p. Additional speculations suggest the phone could come with a 6,000mAh battery supporting up to 80W fast charging, and a 16MP under-display front camera. On the rear, it might be equipped with dual 50MP sensors.
