For gaming, the phone makes use of an ultra-fast 2000Hz touch sampling rate with Magic Touch technology that increases responsiveness by 20%. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is driving the device, along with a custom Red Core R3 chip that optimizes in-game performance by dynamically adjusting audio, vibration, and lighting according to user preferences. It comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage for smooth multitasking and fast load speeds. The “Composite Liquid Metal 2.0” cooling system enables the Red Magic 10 Air to keep temperatures down during heavy gaming sessions. This includes a big 3D vapor chamber, high-conductivity graphite sheets, and phase-change materials that rapidly pull heat away from the core parts.

Nubia claims this setup offers “gaming laptop-level” heat dissipation and can be further enhanced with the Red Magic Cooler 6 Pro, which attaches magnetically to the phone for continuous cooling during long gaming sessions. The phone runs on Red Magic OS 10 based on Android 15, which offers gaming gaming-optimized UI as well as the help of AI-powered tools like Red Magic, DeepSeek, Crosshair Assist, Recon Mode, Motion Control, and Buff Trigger for a better gaming performance. For photography, the Red Magic 10 Air features a dual 50MP rear camera system, which includes a normal wide sensor and an ultra-wide sensor.

It features a 16MP under-display camera with Portrait Algorithm 4.0 on the front, thus delivering a seamless, full-screen experience without notches or cutouts. Under the hood, the device has a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support that can go from 0–100% charge in 35 minutes. It also features bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming while plugged in, which helps maintain battery health and performance over time.

Additional features include stereo speakers, X-axis haptics, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, NFC, and USB-C. The phone also includes 520Hz dual-IC shoulder triggers with millisecond-level response and a sweat-proof coating for gamers. The Red Magic 10 Air is available in Black, White, and Orange colors, with prices starting at 3499 yuan (approx. $476) for the 12GB+256GB model. The 16GB+512GB version is priced at 4199 yuan (approx. $571), while the Orange variant costs 4399 yuan (approx. $598). The phone is now available for purchase.
