Cristiano Ronaldo began his sixth Euro campaign with a thrilling 2-1 win over Czech Republic. The striker could be set for a remarkable campaign with Portugal, given they have one of the best squads in the competition.
But given his determination to continue to break records, there are quite a few that are well within the reach of the veteran. And below, we’ll take a look at all the records he could break within the next few games with the national team.

Most Assists
Although he isn’t a creative winger anymore, one more assist could see Ronaldo join Karel Poborský as the player with the most assists in Euro history with seven. And given that Portugal are favourites to make it out of their group, there is a good chance he will be able to achieve the feat.
Oldest Euros Goal-scorer
Ronaldo holds the record for the most Euro editions with at least one goal scored. And if he extends that record to the 2024 edition, he would become the oldest goalscorer at the Euros, overtaking Ivica Vastic who scored at the age of 38 in 2008 to set the record.
Most chances created
The five time Ballon d’or winner currently trails former teammate Luis Figo by one in terms of the most chances created at the Euros. If Ronaldo creates one more chance for his teammates, he will have 42, which is at par with Figo.
Who is the oldest player at the Euros?
