The drama follows Kang Yong Ho, the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group, who is revered as a business genius. After an accident, his soul swaps into the youthful body of a soccer player named Hwang Jun Hyun, forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

Think: a boss becoming his own intern. The cringe and comedy potential here is *off the charts*.

The new poster captures this odd-couple energy perfectly — Hwang Jun Hyun stands with strong presence while Kang Bang Geul firmly grips his collar, with the caption teasing “family-like(?) teamwork.”

Lee Jun Young, known for his versatile performances across Netflix’s *D.P.*, *Mask Girl*, and *When Life Gives You Tangerines*, has earned a reputation as one of the most unconventional actors of his generation. ### Why You Should Watch?

This isn’t just another soul-swap story. The father-daughter dynamic at the heart of *Reborn Rookie* — where the dad literally can’t reveal who he is — promises genuine emotional weight beneath all the comedy. With a stellar cast and JTBC’s track record for quality dramas, this one looks like a winner.
