Realme India and CEO Madhav both have already assured the launch of a new flagship smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. From time to time we have seen hints of this smartphone in different official and non-official promotions and reports respectively. Last month along with the launch of Realme 8 5G the company had also hinted at the name of its upcoming smartphone with the Density 1200 chipset in India. The name is expected to be Realme X7 Max, as X-series is the flagship series of the brand in India and Realme X7 Pro already had the Dimensity 1000+ chipset.
Yesterday, tipster Gadgetsdata had shared a glimpse of the retail box of the upcoming Realme X7 Max. This is the image where the name of the smartphone gets confirmed and few specifications like the obvious MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, 5G connectivity, and the 120Hz Super AMOLED display. According to the tipster, the box will look most similar to the retail boxes of Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro.
According to most of the reports, this smartphone will be the rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo that was launched in China last month, which runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone has a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED punch-hole panel supported by a refresh rate of 120Hz. This phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Realme GT Neo offers a triple rear camera setup supported by an LED flash that includes a 64MP (Sony IMX682) primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, this phone has a 16MP selfie snapper at the front. It is fueled up by a 4,500mAH battery that supports 50W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, this phone has everything including 5G and the support for a 3.5mm headphone jack. This phone has dual stereo speakers for an amazing multimedia sound experience.
