Realme has announced that they are going to launch a bunch of products on May 25 in China, including their first smart TV and a new smartwatch. These products will include a gaming version of the X50 series dubbed as Realme X50 Pro Player edition. The name will go with the power-packed specs of the smartphone.
The images shared by the company shows that the phone will come with a quad-camera setup and no physical fingerprint scanner at back, which means that it will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition will feature a 6.44″ 2400×1080 pixel display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The official image shows a punch-hole cut in the top-left corner for 16MP and 2MP cameras. The quad-camera setup on the back will include a 48MP main camera joined by one 8MP (likely ultrawide) and two 2MP units (depth and macro).
According to a reliable source (Digital Chat Station), X50 Pro Player Edition will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which will be priced at CNY 3299. He shared a specs list where the battery capacity of the device is shown 4200mAh and will support 65W fast charging.
As a gaming device the brand will try to power up the device with the latest tech to perform like a genuine gaming device, whereas the X50 Pro 5G will be the vanilla version of the series and the performance will be graded down in that device.
