Realme recently launched the Realme Book Slim in India. Another category that the company will foray into very soon is tablets. Realme has been teasing the launch of its new tablet. The company recently revealed the design of the Realme Pad as well. The teaser image confirmed some of the key details.
Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to tease the new tablet from the company. The tweet showcased the Realme Pad’s frame that he claims to have a light and thin design. The teaser poster doesn’t reveal much except for the slim frame and what appears to be a single rear camera.
Sheth suggests that the tablet will be easy to carry around. Sheth also said that Realme Pad will be ‘disruptive’ in its segment. The tweet reads, “Tablets can easily be carried anywhere for work or entertainment. However, holding them for too long can be a challenge. There is a need for a real-ly light & slim ones for your ease and we might just have a solution! Stay tuned for something disruptive is coming.”

Past leaks suggest that Realme Pad may be offered in Gold and Grey colour options with an aluminium unibody construction. Previous reports revealed that the Realme Pad would measure 246.1 x 155.8 x 6.8mm. the same report said the thickness of the tablet increases to 8.4mm at the camera bump.
The renders showed a power button and two speakers on one side.It will also pack quad speakers. At the bottom, there are two more speakers and a USB Type-C port. The volume rocker is located on the frame, close to the camera module. The rumor mill suggests the Realme Pad will flaunt a 10.4-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution.
In terms of the camera, the device will have an 8MP f/2.8 sensor on the front and back. The only difference between the two is that the front camera will have a fixed focus, whereas the rear camera will come with auto-focus.
Under the hood, it is said to come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This storage is expandable via a MicroSD card slot. It will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6769V/CU octa-core chipset. This includes six CPU cores working at 1.80GHz and two CPU cores clocking at 2.0GHz. So the tablet will feature the Helio G80. The device will run Android 11 straight out of the box with Realme UI 2.0. It could come equipped with a 7,100mAh battery cell.
