Realme GT Neo3 launches as the world’s fastest charging phone with support for 150W charging

Realme has finally announced the GT Neo3 in China, the company held a launch event in its home country and unveiled the latest smartphone that it has been teasing for quite some time now.

The Realme GT Neo3 features a unique design, you can look at it and identify it from any other device, it has unique ‘racing’ stripes on one color option, the rear features the iconic twin racing strip along with Realme’s company branding and motto.

The brand is marketing the GT Neo3 as a ‘fashionable gaming smartphone’, if you are not aware, the brand even teamed up with a reputed designer in order to design a special holster to keep the phone and debuted it at the Paris Fashion Week.

The GT Neo3 has a 6.7″ OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, and a 1000Hz smart touch sampling rate as well. It offers a 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, support for HDR10+, and a max brightness of 1000 nits. The device comes with a high screen-to-body ratio of nearly 94.2% with the display being surrounded by extremely thin bezels.

The GT Neo3 has the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip that is based on the 5nm TSMC process and can offer up to 90 fps on certain intensive mobile games it has been paired with. The best configuration you can go for is 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, despite all this, the star of the show here remains the charging speed of the device.

Realme claims that the Realme GT Neo3 supports 150W UltraDart fast charging technology and is the world’s fastest charging model that any customer can get their hands on now. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged up to 50% in under 5 minutes. There is no support for wireless charging.

Apart from this, the Realme GT Neo3 has a TUV Rheinland certification of safe and fast charging. In the optics department, the device houses a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support, 4K, and night mode. It has a secondary 8MP ultrawide angle lens with a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter.

Connectivity options on the device range from 5G, dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing. The device has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. For gamers, the device packs an X-axis linear motor, GT Mode 3.0, and VC liquid cooling technology. It runs on Realme UI based on Android 12 OS.

The Realme GT Neo3 is available in two editions, a 150W one and an 80W one. The 8GB RAM variant costs Yuan 2,699 or 32,415 INR while the 12GB RAM model costs $455 or 35,078 INR. The 80W model comes in a 6GB RAM variant that costs Yuan 1,999 or 23,896 INR while the 8GB RAM model costs Yuan 2,299 or 27,498 INR.

Both these versions arrive with 128GB internal storage, the 12GB RAM version comes with 256GB internal storage and has been priced at Yuan 2,599 or 31,087 INR. The Realme GT Neo3 comes in the Le Mans racing Blue color, a Silverstone White, and Cyclonus Black that features a matte finish. The first two color variants feature the stripes.

Overall, the Realme GT Neo3 does pack a considerable punch, it is an amazingly well-balanced device and priced at a great point as well!
