The much rumored Realme GT 7 Pro is now in the headlines and a tipster has shared what to expect from the alleged device. The phone is expected to be launched in India later this year and is expected to succeed the Realme GT 5 Pro. The Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Now it has received a new leak that further corroborates this and provides additional information regarding its build, display, camera specs, and charging details.

The upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro features may include a BOE X2 panel with a 1.5K resolution and micro-curved edges on all four sides, according to tipster Digital Chat Station in his Weibo post (translated from Chinese). The company could employ a different brand name to market this display. Curiously, the tipster did not directly mention the name of the device in his posts but hinted with an emoji alongside specifications pointing towards the GT 7 Pro.

The tipster did not specify the expected screen size, but given the anticipated improvements over the BOE X1 display used in the Realme GT 5 Pro, the Realme GT 7 Pro might feature a 6.78-inch display, similar to its predecessor.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, offering up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. It may also include a battery with a capacity exceeding 6,000mAh and support for 100W wired fast charging. However, the tipster notes that the device’s engineering does not support wireless charging.

In terms of durability, the Realme GT 7 Pro is rumored to come with an IP68/89-rated build for dust and water resistance, suggesting it could achieve both IP68 and IP69 certifications. For security, it may include a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Regarding the camera setup, the Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 3x periscope camera. The tipster also mentioned that the handset will not include a telephoto macro lens.
