It is almost time for the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition launch. But ahead of its formal announcement later this week, Realme has begun offering teasers that showcase a few of its major specs. Here’s what we know so far.

Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition

Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition Teased Ahead of Launch, Features Snapdragon 8 Elite and 6,500mAh Battery

Now, the company has been sharing teaser posters showing off the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The new Snapdragon flagship processor will now be followed by the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and the GT 7 Pro is already touted to be the cheapest phone to have it. Accompanying the chipset is 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, promising top-of-the-line performance.

Realme has also announced that the GT 7 Pro Racing edition will showcase a quad-curved display with a peak brightness of 6000 nits and a 2600Hz touch sampling rate. The standard GT 7 Pro with the same 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED display is expected to be carried over. There are several special design touches for the Racing Edition of the first backup: a subtle deep blue “Neptune Exploration” color with a textured back that resembles the planet Neptune.

Racing Edition looks more or less like a tweaked version of the regular GT 7 Pro. There is an important distinction, however, when it comes to the camera hardware. Unlike the standard variant, which has a triple camera module, the Racing Edition opts for a dual-camera system.

This includes a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Under the hood, the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition is expected to house a massive 6,500mAh battery. This large battery capacity is complemented by 120W wired fast charging support, allowing users to quickly recharge the device. More details about the smartphone will likely be revealed in the coming days as Realme prepares for its official unveiling.
