The GT series returned to India this week, as Realme launched the Realme GT 6T smartphone in the country last week. Earlier in the year, Realme Vice President Chase Xu revealed that this year fans will see another GT-series phone — Realme GT 7 Pro.

Incidentally, Realme has announced that it will bring the Realme GT 6 to global markets as well; but there is no specific timeline around its availability in India. The Realme GT 6 has been teased to come soon globally, although the launch date is still unknown.

The Realme GT 6T global version has the model number RMX3851, and it is certified in Indonesia, as well as by the FCC and EuroFins. Geekbench results for the Realme GT 6, on the other hand, have revealed it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with an Adreno 735 GPU and will feature up to 16GB of RAM.

The Realme GT 6 already has a listing on EuroFins that reveals its battery capacity will be 5,500mAh (2750mAh dual-cell) with up to 120W SuperVOOC charging. It is expected to run Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 and will include a 50MP rear camera.

Realme GT 6 could launch as a rebrand of China’s Realme GT Neo 6 It was announced earlier this month with specifications like a 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display offering 6000 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The phone comes with a 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera. The Realme GT 6 has received Bureau of Indian Standards certification, indicating it may launch in India soon, though the company has not yet confirmed its release date.
