Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro Set to Debut with Enhanced Features

Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro are poised for an official launch in India on August 23rd. These new audio devices will make their debut alongside the Realme 11 5G and Realme 11X 5G smartphones. The forthcoming truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones are previewed to arrive in two distinct color variations, boasting an in-ear design complemented by a stem.

The standard Realme Buds Air 5 are hinted to house 12.4mm drivers, while their counterpart, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, has been confirmed to sport 11mm drivers. Both offerings incorporate active noise cancellation (ANC) to effectively diminish external noise levels by up to 50 dB. Anticipations are that the Realme Buds Air 5 will succeed the previously released Realme Buds Air 3 earphones.

Realme has officially announced the launch of Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro through a media invitation released on Friday. The unveiling event is scheduled to commence at 12:00 PM IST. Coinciding with this event, the Realme 11 5G and Realme 11X 5G smartphones will also make their first appearance. The company has created dedicated microsites on its Indian website to provide glimpses of the impending TWS headsets.

The teaser pages provide a glimpse of the in-ear design featuring stems for both the Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro. The former is showcased in blue and white color choices, while the latter is presented in black and white options. The earbuds will be housed in an oval-shaped charging case. The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro has been officially revealed to integrate 11mm coaxial dual drivers with a 6mm tweeter. In contrast, the standard Realme Buds Air 5 is hinted at incorporating a 12.4mm driver.

Both models are expected to deliver an active noise cancellation capability, capable of reducing ambient noise by up to 50 dB. The Realme Buds Air 5 is highlighted to include Dolby Atmos audio technology, whereas the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is confirmed to support Hi-Res audio. The standard Realme Buds Air 5 is claimed to provide up to seven hours of music playback time with a mere ten-minute charge.
