Realme Book Slim may come with Core i5, 2K display and PC Connect feature

Realme Book Slim launch in India is around the corner and the company has shared details about its physical connectivity options. While the ports were already revealed through past images, the latest teaser suggests there could be a cheaper Intel Core i3-powered Realme Book Slim, besides the port details. Additionally, Realme Book —expected to be the name for the Chinese version of Realme Book Slim, has been confirmed to be powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU.

Realme’s CEO Madhav Sheth has teased that the Realme Book Slim will be one of the slimmest and lightest notebooks in the country. The laptop will be lighter and slimmer than the Apple MacBook Pro. The Realme Book will measure 14.9mm around the waist and will tip the scale at 1.38kg. In comparison, the Apple MacBook Pro is 15.49mm thick and weighs 1.40kg for the 13-inch version.

The Realme Book is said to sport a 14-inch display with 2K (2160X 1440 pixels resolution), a 3:2 aspect ratio, 300nits brightness and a 100 percent sRGB colour gamut. The laptop is said to be powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake processor paired with Intel Xe graphics, 16GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. Ports on board include a USB 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB C 3.1 ports, 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint sensor. The laptop is said to pack a 54Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Furthermore, Realme had already revealed that the Realme Book Slim will be booting Windows 10 out of the box. Also, the notebook will be eligible for the Windows 11 update whenever Microsoft rolls out the stable version of the OS. The slim laptop will be supporting the 65W fast charging technology via its USB Type-C port. The device is also teased to have a feature called PC Connect, which will allow you to mirror your Realme phone’s screen to the notebook.

The Realme Book Slim laptop will be launched in India alongside the Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Master Edition on August 18th. The event will be live-streamed at 12.30 pm on the brand’s website, so stay tuned.
