Realme 9i with Snapdragon 680 chipset and 11GB RAM launched in India

Earlier today, realme has officially launched the Realme 9i in the Indian market, the smartphone arrives with the same specs as the model that was released in Vietnam, but the Indian variant is priced slightly cheaper.

The Realme 9i begins at 13,999 INR or $188 for the 4GB RAM+64GB storage configuration while the higher-end variant with 6GB RAM+128GB storage. This has been priced for lesser than $290 or 21,625 INR price tag for the 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant in Vietnam.

The Realme 9i comes in Prism Black and Prism Blur color variants, it will go up on sale on January 25th at 12 PM on Flipkart and Realme India’s official site.

Let us take a detailed look at the specs of the Realme 9i:

The 9i features a 6.6″ punch-hole IPS FHD+ display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080p, the screen comes with a 90Hz refresh rate, a touch-sampling rate of 180Hz, and a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. It features a patterned design, the rear has three vertical stripes. The phone comes with a new camera island with three sensors.

It comes with a 50MP primary lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP black and white lens. It has an LED flash beside the sensors. On the front it has a 16MP AI selfie shooter, it has dual stereo speakers, and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio.

Under the hood, it comes with the Snapdragon 680 chip paired with 4GB/6GB RAM options and 64GB/128GB internal storage options. As per realme, the phone has up to 11GB dynamic RAM.

It also comes with 5GB additional RAM which when added up with the 6GB RAM adds up to 11GB of total RAM. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device boots on realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
