Realme has unveiled the new smartphones Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro in their launch just a few hours before. These are the successors of the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro which was launched last year. Without wasting any time, let’s look into what Realme has to offer us today.
Realme 8
Realme 8 flaunts a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and comes with a screen resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 mobile processor. It runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box and has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It features a quad-camera setup at the back. The smartphone comes in three models: 4GB+128GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB+128GB storage.
This includes a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP B&W lens. For selfies and video chats, you will see a 16 MP Sony IMX471 front-camera lens. It draws energy from a 5,000 mAh battery which is paired with a 30W fast-charging support. Connectivity features of Realme 8 include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.

Realme 8 Pro
Realme 8 Pro sports a similar 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and has a screen resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. The smartphone packs a smaller 4,500mAh battery cell and comes with 50W fast-charging support. The smartphone comes with two variants: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB storage.
In terms of optics, it has a quad-camera setup at the back with a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor, an 8MP camera sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP B&W lens. It has the same 16 MP Sony IMX471 lens at the front. Connectivity features of Realme 8 Pro include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
Prices and Availability
Realme 8 comes in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black colours. The sale of the device starts on March 25th. Following are the price variants:
