Realme India revealed several significant details about the upcoming Realme 12+ 5G Indian edition on X (formerly Twitter) before the smartphone was made available in the country.
Realme 12+ 5G rumored specifications and features
The phone is confirmed to be powered by the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. For the phone, a 120Hz AMOLED display with rainfall smart touch technology was also revealed.
It is claimed that the technology can distinguish between finger touches and water patterns. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the usage of a phone with damp or wet hands.
The Realme 12+ 5G will come with the Sony LYT600 camera, which is anticipated to be joined with a 2x zoom portrait camera and an ultrawide camera with a 112° field of view.
According to the company’s Indian office, the Realme 12+ 5G would have a 120Hz AMOLED screen with Rainwater Smart Touch technology and be powered by the Dimensity 7050 SoC.
Beneath the screen, there will also be a punch-hole for the selfie camera and a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Despite the absence of a 3.5mm headphone connector, Realme teased that USB-C would be built into the smartphone.
It is anticipated that the Realme 12+ 5G would go on sale in India on March 6, just a few days after its scheduled February 29 debut in Malaysia. It is quite probable that the phone will include a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging and Realme UI 5.0—which is predicated on Android 14—will most likely be included.
