Despite being a football club, Real Madrid scored a century yesterday. The Spanish giants won their 100th trophy in history to become the greatest club on the planet. Real Madrid are football heritage, having won the UEFA Champions League trophy a record 14 times.

Los Blancos has now won the FIFA Club World Cup beating Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal by a 5-3 margin. The Club World Cup trophy becomes the 100th trophy won by Real Madrid.

There was no shortage of goals from the two sides, and the scoring started in the 13th minute itself. Vinicius Jr slid the ball past Abdullah Al Mayouf to get things going as he yet produced another marvellous performance along with midfield ace Valverde.

However, in spite of the win, further questions will be asked of Real Madrid’s defence after their performance last night. The team has very often outscored their opponents on big margins. But, they will need to fortify things at the back if they are to replicate the success from last season.

But right now, the whole team is on top of the world after becoming world champions and etching their name in the history books after winning the 100th trophy for their club.
